And glad you loved the play-by-play Mel (or at least pretended to!).

And, Mel, although Jordan knows that Jesus's being born is the most important reason for the season for us, we like having Santa around/to include him in our season.

I don't begrudge people for celebrating only the secular part. That said, when I wished a cashier at Big Lot's "Merry Christmas," she said nothing back to me. I have no idea if she does not celebrate Christmas or if she is just rude.

If someone wished me a happy Kwanza or Hanukkah, I would probably say thanks and leave it at that, but it does not really apply to me, obviously.Faciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12165861407055831754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3340086915925016532.post-3447943156891260522010-12-21T10:56:15.462-05:002010-12-21T10:56:15.462-05:00She did great! Got her mom's musical talent, I guess.

Loved the blow-by-blow tree acquisition (last post).

(Re: your whatever-your-reason comment, I'm thinking that if someone is celebrating Christmas, I think the reason has to be Christ, yes? Otherwise they're celebrating the solstice or xmas or some other thing...)Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01886668831972641673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3340086915925016532.post-73491495285855343702010-12-21T10:51:45.265-05:002010-12-21T10:51:45.265-05:00Very, very cool...my oldest daughter had her holid...Very, very cool...my oldest daughter had her holiday concert yesterday and it was awesome to see her up on stage playing the recorder.
